This is a combination of two sessions I had with this wonderful family. The first one was a few weeks after {the twins} were born, and the second one about a month before their first Christmas celebration. Like mother, like daughter! Valentina is almost 10 months old, and this is her first photoshoot (of many to come). She loves the camera and is always making faces and laughing at everything and anything she sees, she is definitely a super happy baby! You have probably seen keka before in this blog in the editorial section, but this time our meeting had a much more beautiful purpose. It was her second birthday , and Sofia -the birthday girl- had tons of people wanting to celebrate with her, and despite the rain and a few other bumps in the road everyone had a blast. So this weekend I was traveling and by chance met Yazmin, or as her sister calls her Maria!(her first name). We decided to create an impromptu shoot, strolled around beautiful downtown Kissimmee and it turns out the scenery went into secondary place, this thirteen year old girl is so amazing and definitely a natural at modeling. Maybe it’s her ballet dancing background, who knows! A little girl with so much going for her, with an unconventional yet beautiful name: Lua, which means moon. She is part Brazilian and part Colombian and you can speak to her in various languages, she will still always smile at you.We had a few minutes to shoot, and this is the result of our time together at the park. {Click on thumbnails to view larger image}
Someone once said that a smile warms the heart and the soul, and Leslie definitely knows how to make this work for her and anyone around her.I have known her for over 10 years, and I recently had the chance to shoot some pictures on her 16th birthday. Less than 3 years old and this baby is a total heartbreaker…He has the most amazing eyes I have ever seen and a personality of a star!
