It’s been close to four months since I was able to photograph anyone. The global pandemic and all of its consequences put many of us in very strange situations. But all the obvious things aside, if this virus has taught me anything, is that treasuring every moment with loved ones is never a waste of time. Family is important and every minute we spend with those we love, matters. It matters now and it will matter in the future.
That’s one of the reasons why I love photographing families. These photos stay relevant for a lifetime, if not more.
This session was photographed in New York City on July 9, 2020. With all precautions in place, we made this work and I’m so happy with the result. Alex and Guy are welcoming their new daughter soon, with the company of Pippa, their two year old and Margaret, their first fur child.
